Transdisciplinary Studies. Beyond society and business is composed of a series of investigations that address different research topics, in which the authors of the joint collaboration of two institutions of higher education in the country: the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Aguascalientes and the Universidad Autónoma de Coahuila. Conceptual, empirical and theoretical tools are provided that offer an approach to the needs and realities of Mexico, which can be part of integrative models that serve as triggers for the competitiveness of Mexico, its society and companies. This work is part of the research lines of the academic body "Competitiveness and Value Chain", whose main perspective is to contribute to the critical analysis of both external and internal factors for the generation of holistic solutions for the economic and social environment from the organizational, inter-organizational, regional and national levels.
This book offers a comprehensive and critical view of the multiple challenges and opportunities Mexico faces on its path to competitiveness and sustainable development. Through a combination of social, economic and environmental studies, the authors propose solutions based on transdisciplinary approaches that promote cohesion among the country's diverse social and economic actors. The interrelationship between food sovereignty, organizational culture, agribusiness technology and collective action in phytosanitary management highlights the need for holistic public policies and innovative business strategies. This book not only enriches theoretical and empirical knowledge, but also offers practical tools that can be adopted by readers to foster a more competitive, equitable and sustainable Mexico.
