TIME TRAVELERS: Literary essays
Synopsis
It is a book of maturity -on a return journey- that focuses predominantly on the essay genre and that filters naturally, but also with extreme rigor, the qualities and passions of a writer with craft, professionally trained in the demanding territory of Hispanic language and literature.
Many and diverse are the gifts that, as in Borges' poem, the author displays in the set of selected texts that, with good taste, he gathers in this book. This book shows, at the same time, the academic rigor and the fine and erudite sensibility of the experienced writer. In the words of Ricardo Orozco, the book is about traveling in time with texts that at the time gave account of his readings, of his critical concerns about certain communicating vessels between authors, cultures, periods, works, worldviews; so that this work presents the baggage of wisdom that has been accumulating during his life, with nostalgia as the center of his writing.
