ANTONIO ACEVEDO ESCOBEDO: WRITER AND CULTURAL SHAPER
Synopsis
This work aims to reveal the magnitude of Acevedo Escobedo's literary output in order to contribute to the formation of a history of literature in Aguascalientes and, thus, to enrich Mexican literature. For small stories are part of a country's historiography.
This work does not intend to be exhaustive; it is simply a map that provides a series of clues for the study of Acevedo's work in its various facets and that can be analyzed from several perspectives. Acevedo Escobedo is a major figure and an authority in 20th-century Mexican literature. Through the map drawn around his life and work, his presence in Mexican literature from 1925 to the early 1980s is clearly visible.
