Synopsis

Mora has published some poems, here and there, in magazines, newspapers, anthologies, but never an individual poetry book. Until now. His poetry has been crafted silently.
To have a better understanding of the environment surrounding the book, it is advisable to anticipate that there have been two events that originated it: one collective; the other, individual. The first is related to the bad memories triggered by thinking about Hurricane Katrina in 2005; the second, with the poet's memory. In all of this, there is a person who connects the hurricane with his own life: in the book, he is called Lazarus; in reality, he was his father.
Any family memory worth sharing literarily has less water than poison. Reading New Orleans evokes the discomfort of looking through an old family album, filled with mold, dust, humidity, and people who no longer exist.
