STUDIES ON THE ADMINISTRATION AND PROSECUTION OF JUSTICE IN THE FEDERAL STATES
Synopsis
The academic body of Administration of Justice of the Universidad Autónoma de Aguascalientes, through the work entitled Estudios en torno a la administración y procuración de justicia en las entidades federativas, exposes a set of research works that its members have developed, allowing researchers, academics and students interested in the studies of the administration of justice with a local and regional approach, to find in the text that we put in their hands the generation of recent and relevant knowledge on the subject.
The book begins with the work entitled “El servicio profesional de carrera del Ministerio Público”, in which Dr. Claudio Antonio Granados Macías analyzes the challenges, advances and setbacks regarding the professional career service as an indispensable means to achieve the constitutional autonomy of the Public Prosecutor's Office. Dr. Ma. Guadalupe Márquez Algara presents her contribution entitled “Violence against children in Mexico. Una radiografía del terror”, in which she presents the phenomenon of violence against children in Mexico, observing its evolution. In “TMEC Rules of Origin. Notes from a local legal perspective”, Dr. José Manuel López Libreros makes a legal study, from a local perspective, on the ways in which trade is managed through preferential trade schemes agreed in international agreements and their impact on the geographical areas that benefit from the attraction of investments and productive processes. Dr. José Luis Eloy Morales Brand presents the work “Evidencias y protección jurisdiccional en el proceso penal acusatorio”, where he states that the purpose of the accusatory criminal justice systems in Latin America is to reduce human rights violations in the system, particularly in the investigation and execution phases. In the contribution entitled “Legal consequences of the lack of regulation of the State's patrimonial responsibility at the local level”, Dr. Miguel Angel Veloz Romo studies the decree that reforms, since 2002, Article 113 of the Constitution, in which the State's patrimonial responsibility was incorporated. Finally, Dr. Óscar Arnulfo de la Torre de Lara presents the text “La disputa por el maíz: esquizofrenia legal y políticas públicas”, where he analyzes the impact that the use of transgenic corn will have in Mexico.
