Synopsis

The strong national and international pressure being exerted on manufacturing companies and the different suppliers that make up the supply chain, both by environmental and consumer groups and by government authorities to implement strategies that allow them to improve the environment and sustainable business development, is generating a transcendental change in the management of organizations by encouraging them to adopt or redesign various strategies that are reducing negative impacts on the environment. Among the different strategies that are being adopted and implemented in most manufacturing companies, including those in the automotive industry, are circular economy activities, which, in practice, consist of the reuse of materials and raw materials, the reduction of industrial waste and the use of renewable energies in the production of more environmentally friendly products.
