THE MOON AND TIDE: Feminine presence in the catholic religiosity of Aguascalientes

The motivation for this book is that I belong to the Catholic culture of central western Mexico, I have swum in it all my life and I want to know it. In addition, it has the objective of making visible and notable the feminine presence in this culture. Thus, this book deals, in the first part, with the important -although devalued and invisibilized- presence of religious women within the Catholic Church in Aguascalientes and, in the second part, with the Marian Cult as the expression of an important feminine presence in Catholicism and in the local culture.
